Design Features:

Product type


The ceramic rotating disc valve is ceramics-to-ceramics sealing and parallel double discs. However if it’s used as a gravity discharge valve, single disc design is much better than double disc design. By applying double disc valve design for this valve, when valve is shut off, bulk material will drop into tank because of its gravity and will not accumulate in the valve body. Thus  ceramic rotating double disc valves will never been blocked.
The standard end connection of ceramic rotating disc valve is flanged type, but if installation space is limited, wafer type body is available. Foyo can provide any end connection per customers’ requirement.
Self-cleaning disc design allows the discs to move freely and avoid being scratched by solid particles. 

Temperature range
Usually working temperature of pneumatic conveying system is not so high, but under some special conditions like economizer valves in coal fired power plant, working temperature may be up to 450 ℃. Then special design of ceramics and packing material will be considered.

Valve tightness
The tightness of ceramic rotating disc valve is very important. Foyo has advanced ceramic processing technology and skilled technicians, all ceramic sealing faces of  ceramic rotating double disc valves are well ground and polished, which ensure Class V leakage as per FCI 70-2.
