Design

Foyo floating ball valves are designed and manufactured to provide maximum service life and reliability. All our floating ball valves meet the requirements of API 608 and API 6D, BS5351, ASME B16.34. A complete range of body and trim materials are available.

Product description

1 Operating

Extended Lever for easy operation, Gear box, Pneumatic actuator, electric actuators and hydraulic actuators are all available for Foyo floating ball valves to meet customers’ requirements.

2 Body and Bonnet

Split body and 3-piece body are both available for our floating ball valves. Generally the split body is for cast body and 3-piece body is for forged body.

3 Bore

By default Foyo floating ball valves are all full bore, however reduced bore is also available.

4 End connections

RF and RTJ flanged or Butt welding end are all available for Foyo floating ball valves.

5 Stem Packing

Standard stem packing is multiple V-PTFE, spring live loaded packing and graphite packing can be designed for high temperature applications.

6 Anti-Static Device

A metallic ball and spring contact is designed between ball and stem to discharge statics ‘

7 DBB

Double block and bleed design. The body cavity of floating ball valves is isolated when the ball is at either fully closed or fully open position. The medium entrapped in the cavity can be easily be bled out to avoid overpressure.

8 Fire-Safe Design

Fire-Safe design as per API 607. Floating ball valves ordered in compliance with API 607 will be provided with flexible graphite packing and gaskets.
