​Motorized Ceramic Ball Valves for Lime Slurry Controlling System are Ready for shipment

Since China’s reform and opening up in 1978, there are more than 1200 coal fired power plants built in China, the exhaust gas was discharged into the air, the environment in many parts of China has been seriously polluted, especially in North China.

From 2017, China government is paying more and more attention to environment protection. So FGD system is becoming more and more important for coal fired power plants. In nowadays, the most efficient desulfurization method is lime slurry wet desulfurization. But lime slurry is very abrasive and will cause severe damage to the pipes and valves.

Pingdingshan Yaomen coal fired power plant has a 2x1000MW unit, and in the past years, they import USA metal seated butterfly valves for the lime slurry controlling system, but the effect is not satisfactory. From 2015, Yaomeng power plant introduce Foyo’s ceramic full lined ball valves for their lime slurry controlling system. Thanks to the high hardness and high strength of the advanced ceramics, Foyo full lined ceramic ball valves have much better performance than their previous metal seated control valves. So the end user decide to use ceramic full lined ball valves as a control valve in all their lime slurry controlling lines.
In July 2017, the end user ordered extra two pcs motorized DN50-PN10 ceramic full lined ball valves, the electric actuators are produced by Rotork, which is one of the most famous electric actuator brands.
